Gut Health Clinic

Gut Health Clinic Marylebone

Have you been experiencing gut issues like constipation, bloating, acid reflux or embarrassing flatulence since you can remember but think it’s the norm? Are you suffering with an autoimmunity gut issue and left alone to deal with it? Are you sensing that your aches and pains or your odd unresolving symptoms can be linked to food but despite all the food changes nothing seems to shift?

I get it. I have been there and it took me years to figure things out by myself. I dedicated a lot of time and effort to try and understand how the body works and to join the dots together.

Your gut is one of the most important organs in your body and its links with the immune system, hormones and detox pathways can make symptoms very complex.

With some support and direction you can simplify your journey to health and finally discover that feeling at your best will be your new norm.

Your Gut Health journey

If any of your experiences are similar to mine, you would know that your symptoms are not easily linked to your gut. Many people in fact struggle with brain fog, skin issues, insomnia, low mood or aches and pains giving very little consideration to their gut health. Nowadays we know that our gut is physiologically linked to all our organs through neurological pathways and the expression of a dysfunction can be directed to several areas of the human body.

Through a Nutritional Therapy consultation it is possible to identify the root cause of your issues, develop a plan and address all aspects of your health that have been compromised. The underlying causes can vary, from gut dysbiosis (imbalance of the complex microbial communities in our gut) or Coeliac disease to diminished digestive function (low enzymes that help breakdown carbohydrates, proteins and fats) or leaky gut (damage of the intestinal lining) but small changes in our food habits can make a big impact in our general health.

Our Gut Health Practitioner

Many illnesses can be linked to gut health. Dysbiosis in the gastrointestinal microbiome, for example, has been associated with several diseases like autoimmunity, IBS/IBD, SIBO, chronic fatigue and systemic inflammation. I have been studying and observing human bodies for 20 years, from a structural point of view first, through physiotherapy and osteopathy and a more systemic point of view after through nutrition and I truly believe that everything in the body is connected. We still don’t know all the ‘hows’ but the future is very promising.
